Are you taff enaff?? Man, one good turn deserves another! Unused Ending 2 had worked its way off of my playlist, due to a certain railroad themed track....so hearing it this morning was new and fresh and set me off on a high note. Incidentally, I didn't realize that the game was available on other formats, so your mention of it set me on a densetsu of my own. I was interested to find out that Unused Ending 2 doesn't appear on any of the other OSTs(as far as I could tell). So it's either a MD exclusive, or....or something else, I guess.
ReplyDeleteAnother round of fantastic tracks! Speaking of knowing what one's heart needs.... Counter-Strike was really good and to me, sounded totally like Jake Kauffman. Maybe Yasui is Kauffman's true muse, and not Manami Matsumae.
Sorry to hear you're under the weather. Your wife's cameo coughing was hilarious. Lastly, the audio sounded great! Just to be sure it wasn't my ears, I compared it directly with the previous episode. Vocals were MUCH improved; no background noise I could discern, and the balance sounded just right. It was a LITTLE quiet coming off of "Blow Up", but other than that, it was very solid.

Railroad track, eh? Sounds preeeetty interesting. I haven’t checked out the other ports of the Dragon Slayer, but I do love the PC-X8 sound, so I’m guessing I’ll enjoy it. Maybe they wrote an ending track for the MD but decided to scrap it before the release?
I can totally see the Jake Kauffman vibe on the track. It’s got that hard driving chip blasting sound.
Glad the audio was sounding good. I recorded at my dining room table (hence wife coughing picking up), and I might try to make that my new space.
Too bad your immune system wasn't Taff-E-Naff to allow a full episode, but this tracklist was still Jad to the bone.
