  1. Congratulations on the upcoming baby! While I will miss the regular updates, I totally understand and respect the reason for your decision. The Diad, I thank you for the time and love you have and will put into this project. It is a pleasure listening to you ramble.

    1. Thanks, Papi!

I think the next episode is going to be a big research one. Something that Alex Messenger helped with.

  2. Wow, I think someone's targeting VGM podcasters. First JGMJB and now your podcast has succumbed to Big VGM. Or maybe this is a Highlander type situation and "there can be only one". Either way I feel like the room is spinning and I have to sit down.

I'm obviously not serious. Congratulations on the new baby. I think back to JGMJB about your testimonial on your last baby. So what matter of showering product are you going to use to gauge when this one will be born? I completely understand on the family aspect as it relates to time. I've been planning on submitting a VGM Karaoke for about two and a half years now, and with my wife being pregnant with our eight baby together, it looks like I will get around to recording it sometime in a decade or so.

Hey and if this gets you to making another dissertation type episode, I'll take it. I did think it was a magnum opus and that's what led me to your podcast in the first place. I seriously think I know WSXY better than you or Alan Uhler. I have listened to it so many times, I have it memorized. Anyways, peace out.

    1. Holy cow... did you say EIGHT kids?!!

Congratulations on your wife being pregnant! But I guess you have had some practice at this by now. Wow! And your comment about the showering product made me laugh out loud at work. That's a great point, I better hit up Costco.

I have already done some more work on the next episode, so rest assured I'm not gone for good. but you are right about the great VGM slowdown of '18. It's no joke!

    2. And thanks about WSXY. It was possibly the most fun VGM-related thing I've ever worked on. I have a few ideas about another skit-type episode, and even a possible guest commitment to do a voice.

  3. Also I can relate to the whole hidden in plain sight strategy guide type thing. I cannot confirm or deny a certain homemade VHS tape labeled "Rugrats" that my sister might have taken to pacify the kids she was babysitting. I'll give you a hint, it wasn't all Rugrats.

    1. Luckily, my sister recognized "Roadhouse" pretty quickly and was fast on the remote. So no children were traumatized.
